WATCH THIS SHORT VIDEO ON HOW WE HANDLE ROOFTOP DRAINS WHEN INSTALLING OURVINYL WATERPROOF DECK SKINS!

In this short video Grant Barlow shows you some of the true innovations in elevated (eg 2nd floor and up) deck, balcony and porch drain systems.  He talks about where the best place to locate drains is, and why it matters.

HERE ARE TOPICS COVERED IN THIS VIDEO:

  • Some rooftop decks have many drains - not a problem whatsoever.
  • We use a special-purpose drain assembly that fuses with the vinyl deck skins covering.
  • Clamping rings and PVC coatings and why they're important.
  • Solid wall water barriers on the perimeter of your deck and what we do with them.
  • Cutting water overflow ports through your deck's walls or curbs.  Why?
  • Designing where the overflow ends up so you know when something is wrong!
  • Clearing the leaves away from floor drains in the fall.

Some videos take a little time to load. Please have patience. (We shot them in Hi-Res so you have a better learning experience.)

MWPD/FACTOID:
Another innovation of our vinyl waterproof deck skins is the way in which we adhere the deck skins to your roof drains. (Most smaller elevated decks don't actaully have flor drains, but, for those who do, we represent the best of the breed in waterproofing your deck!)

In the video Grant Barlow will show you exactly how our proprietary, welded in place, drain assembly with PVC coated metal flashing protects your home against damage.  It's NOT as boring as it sounds.  Actually, it's very interesting and educational.  It may even give you a thought or two about incorporating deck drains if you're still in the design phase of your deck, balcony or porch project.
